Old Shure mic from the 70s?

My dad just gave me a dynamic mic he used to gig with (as a jazz saxophonist).
It says Shure Brothers Incorporated on it, it's a dynamic mic resembling the SM 57.
It also says "Unidyme B" and PE 515, which I assume is the model.
Anyone know anything about this mic? Good applications?
Is it pretty much just an SM 57? Sounds kinda like one, heh.

Also it has an affixed 1/4" cable, which is weird.

I had one. It has a narrower frequency response than an sm57, but that actually makes it cooler for some uses, like harp (and I would imagine it would be good for some guitar sounds or phone-like vocals). As it has high impedance output, you can plug directly into an amp or guitar pedals, no need to connect it to a pre-amp.
