pricing sweet spot for DJ Mixer

Hello all,
I'm looking to buy a mixer (first one) for scratching and mixing wondering where the pricing sweet spot is? I guess I'm looking for the point where I can get the cheapest mixer that will work, last and sound ok. I'm temped by a four channel mixer although I probably only need two.

Can anybody recommend any also?
