Need help setting up PT9 HD i/o Template.

I am setting up a template in PT9 HD using an AVID 16x16 Analog i/o. I want to have all my routing setup and ready to go.

I have OUTPUTS 1-14 going into my Fat Bustard Summing Mixer, which then hits a Phoenix Buss Comp, which is half-normalled to return to Analog Inputs 1-2. I then split the Phoenix Ouput signal from the patchbay to my monitor controller to monitor my mix.

I have OUTPUT 15 going to an analog Space Echo. It Returns on Analog Input 3.

Since I am mixing down back to my DAW, I have to set an output to monitor that channel. I could lose the Space Echo and set the mixdown output to 15-16, but then I have no hardware inserts.

I don't really need to monitor the Mix post-Daw, since I can monitor Pre-Daw from my Coleman.

Is there a way to set this up that I am not seeing, or am I going to have to add more outputs for hardware inserts? Is there a way to use the Digital Outputs, ie., Spdif, AES, to monitor my mix?

I hope this makes sense....
