What get gear did you get for Christmas?

Looked through the forums and didn't see any thread like this. Did you get anything good for Christmas? Did you try it out yet and is it any good?

Most of the stuff I want is to expensive to ask for but there was a few things I could ask for that are good cheap and will get used.

Got a Danelecto fab echo which I have one but loved it so much I asked for another. Heck I use it on vocal tracks

Got a Danelectro D-2 overdrive which is awesome sounds really good and both pedals are only 15 dollars each had them on my amazon wish list.

Also got a gls es 58. I don't care what anyone says these things sound pretty dang good. I had the 57 and needed the 58 for a matching set

Everyone's sound good so far. The compund miter saw Is a great music gift though I used one to build the bass traps I have, and to do a lot of cuts for the racks I built. I use electronics, electric, and carpenters tools just as much as my music equipment at my studio and stuff like that just makes life so much easier.

I like them so far, but i'd gladly trade for your Elux 251.

one of these:

Eight individual True Bypass Loops means you can have a separate loop for all your pedals and maybe a few loops left over for your future pedals too! What this can do for your sound and stage/studio setup is incredible, not just because of the true bypass benefits, but the organization of all your pedals, just think - only one switching device to control all your effects, it's great! LED's power up with a standard 9 volt neg pin AC adapter, the same one you use for most of your other pedals.

It has been a long time coming and I decided to use my "pre-screening" recording income from the past month to jump on a very good deal on a used one.

Besides, it's a write off!

Nothing really as far as gear or much goes...just hanging with the family and that's good enough. Hopefully my manager seals some deals for some recording gigs this week! Picked a cheap manager up 2 weeks ago to focus on recording and not squirming for more clients and so far so good!

Very pedestrian by comparison, but an Axiom 49 mkII with the Deep Link midi to PT9 and a pair of Beyerdynamic 770 cans.

But a happy holidays to everyone.

a dremel 4000

not a sexy rack device, but probably just as handy with those d.i.y. tasks.

i also finished up re-skinning the snare drum i got awhile ago and did a mod to my kp1 to make it more efficient in my environment.

Please post a follow-up on the Exige. It's been on my bucket list as long as i've had a bucket list. Need to know if
A) it's as funs to drive as they say
B) the ride is as stiff as they say
C) you really do get more sex driving one...

Hey, I'm easy.

Im the same way. A few packs of Ernie Ball Power Slinkys, a few packs of Big Stubby 2mm picks, a couple pairs of new socks and some new boxers.

My parents already do so much and its not like we are making the big bucks, so I wouldnt want to pressure them with expensive gifts. As I get older im much more happier with the little things, specially when it allows them to just relax.
