I've lost £2000 worth of work because no vehicles can get to the studio, I'm getting pretty bored of it now

My CDs also arrived late from the Factory. But, luckily for me, not too late

As long as you don't have to travel, this is a nice cosy but cold time. But travelling (bus/tram/train/airplane/...) is hell due to delays or cancelations.

And driving a car is in some places rather dangerous these days and goes very very slow. You're happy if you can drive 50km/h on non highways, and on highways it's often not better, also due to traffic jams due to accidents. if you have a big car with drivetrain on the backwheels, you better leave it home also... frontdriven and 4 wheel drive can still try...

For short distances is by foot actually the best now. I live in a innercity so i'm walking a lot these days. But it's getting better here (at least at the coastside...)

There's a Snowstorm over Denmark, so everything is a bit weird, but Copenhagen is fine atm. Just lots and lots of snow. Everything looks like the perfect Xmas landscape :-)

Yep, put all your money into the banks rather than good winter infrastructure, now look where Europe is. F*£$£!d

(In europe myself) the whole area is just frozen solid and doesn't seem like changing.

Situation around Paris/France :

-2° to 0° Celcius, not so much, but… :

- it snows every two days, just enough to make it a PITA…
- snow doesn't melt off tutt
- many roads not very usable
- I can't play golf on that white concrete ground !!!

on the positive side :

- plenty of time to track and record during these holidays !
- plenty of time to stay cool at home, doing things we had to fix when we're workin'…

Resume :

- very different… but not so bad !!!

I'm living in the parts of Sweden that had the most snow in the country. Got over half a meter of snow in the garden. Pretty nice though.

Eh, I grew up in New England.... they probably wouldn't cancel school for this lol....

But now that I live in the South, it's easier to understand what a [email protected]#$$ snow can be if you're not equipped for it (snowplows, 4wd, etc)

Keep safe, go slow, and turn into a spin!

I needed 4x the time on my way to work (resulting in > 2 hrs each way), trucks have been forbidden on the highway, lots of crashes, icy roads ... no fun at all but I am still alive.

It's not too bad here now, still freezing but you can get about ok now. Was just bad for a few days when it froze after it had been snowing lots.

The situation in eastern Finland: Last few days -30c, quite clear weather. No new snow. The thickness of the existing snow blanket around 30 cm.
Pretty normal winter weather. A few degrees colder than usual, but nothing extraordinary.
The biggest issue is to get a cold diesel engine to start if needed suddenly.
But this is what winters here always are. Beautiful, but freezing cold.

I drove 1,150 miles across Europe on the 20th/21st.

No problem at all and the only place with bad roads was the UK where they had not salted them.

In Slovakia the snow had gone by Christmas Eve and it's now bright and cold.
