I always have mixed feelings about that band.
On one hand I really like what they do, and appreciate their vibe. They know what they're doing and kill it.
On the other hand, the whole smashed distorted thing always wares my last nerve down to a nub. I can listen for a little while, but then I have to turn it off. This Abby Road live version is really nice to listen to....and I DON'T miss the pumping distortion at all.

I'd never heard of it, until I saw it on some "100 Best of All Time" list. So I DL'd it. Very good album

Agreed! A great song that showcases their talent. I'm looking forward to their next album, should be interesting.

I love the sound bands get at Live at Abbey Road, but that it often is just different rather than better.

I actually prefer the studio version a little better since the machine like distorted drums work better for me and the upfront effected vocal does a little better job in the track.

Whew... I was worried for a moment there that you might have spent $9 to reward them for making such a great album, assuming you really meant downloaded instead of purchased. We need to come up with a term that means 'legally downloaded', so as to differentiate.

I really like this band. Been listening to their first album mostly, just bought the Cd 2 weeks ago. To me it reminds me of Pink Floyd for some odd reason. I really like that they don't take themselves too seriously in their songs.
