Mac to PC switch?

Hey guys, I'm new here and new to producing but I've learned a lot the past few months using logic on my mac. I'm mainly producing/trying to produce electro/dutch house, no recording or anything.

Currently with logic I'm having trouble making my music LOUD, probably because I am new with it but I have also heard logic requires a lot of experience to really get it working well and sounding loud/pop.

Im considering moving to PC and trying FL, I've heard it has a great workflow and you can make music fairly easily/quickly with it, and hopefully requires less experience to sound good/poppy. Also, moving to PC would allow me to download freeware plugins (Nexus 2, Sylenth 1, etc.) unlike on the mac which would be a big plus.

I know this move probably sounds crazy to the very experienced users, or maybe I just need some good tips on how to make my music loud on logic. Would you guys recommend making the PC move? The freeware plugins on the PC is plus to me as well.

I really appreciate any help/tips
Thanks

Buy a really BIG amplifier. Really big. Like, you know, a thousand Watts. At least. Oh, and some really BIG speakers. Really, really BIG. And then turn up the volume. Cos that's all that matters. LOUD, Hell yeah!

Monday mornings SUCK.

Why don't you bootcamp and run both(louder??) systems on your mac?

IMO free mac plugs are plenty too:

to make things LOUD in logic, do this:

1. to go your master fader in the mixer view
2. insert one of logic's limiters
3. grab the gain slider and turn it up 60 dB
4. make sure the output gain is set to 0 dB

now things are LOUD and PUMPING.

Just so you know, if perchance you don't know.
Those 'freeware' synths available on the PC, aren't freeware but illegal crack of the commercially available software which you have to pay for a license to use.

Indeed. Nexus is cross platform and the same price on both systems (around $300?). Sylenth is PC only but not free either.

If you can't make your music "loud" on a mac, you won't make it "loud" on a PC either. You basically don't understand limiting/gain staging yet. A basic book on mixing/mastering, plus another specifically on logic will give way more improvement than switching platforms.
