what kind of engineer is best suited to..

Hello guys, like in 4-5 months im out of school. I really love music and apart from trying to prduce some I would like to study an engineer realted to the field.

just wandering if anyone of you do an engineer related to music.
like building studios
bulding speakers etc.
building compressors

What did you chose as a major?

What should I expect career wise & money wise

any input helpful

I think electronics should be the field you're looking for. Acoustics are also important, but electronics will be the most usefull.
