8 ch. convertor to run into Orpheus with SPDIF

I want a stand-alone convertor to convert my mixing channels into L/R SPIDF into my Orpheus. These tracks will be dumped after mixing the drums. I just want to let the band hear themselves while we track the drums.

I don't need preamps, I don't need to run it into my computer, I just need it to run direct in for scratch tracks. We are running 44.1khz, so wondering if there is something older that we can buy that is fairly inexpensive.

I had a profire 2626 but that was a piece of crap. No more M-audio thanks.

It just wouldn't sync with the Orpheus. Maybe ignorance (most likely) from me I am sure.

Leaning toward the Behringer ADA8000.

Cheap and the converters will work fine. Plus 150 and below.
