dont get how other people are ok with it.

the same here, i really dislike it.

the stedman makes a really bad sound with the sss, specially if you wanna get the proximity effect and the singer has to sing close to the pop filter/mic, the ssss gets nastier.

it almost sound like if the sibilance noise gets a tremolo effect sort of like a sss-ss-s-ss-.. or something like that...hah!,ok, tremolo effect might be too much.. but yeah it enhances the sibilance and sort of like chops it.(cant explain it)

really dont get it either how people like it.

im thinking of a Vac6 pop filter, i cant afford the pauly pop filter

Right down to pop filters
Anyone here like to dedicate one mic stand for the mic and one for the pop filter, like I do? If so, which stand do you think works best for the pop filter?

Anyone try the charter oak pop filter?

I got a couple of them. They work well but don't fit my mics like I want them to. They fit the Pearlman's and that style of mic great.

I have ended up using a couple of the JZ pop filters and I am gonna get a Blast Pad within the next month or two.

I am gonna sell my charter oaks....1 slightly used and one brand new. Let me know if you are interested in a two for one sale!
