What happen to my thread here's the link

https://www.gearslutz.com/board/so-mu...ing-about.html

this thread was about what your percentage is of people on gearsluts who know what there talking about (60/40) vs just a know it all who couldn't make a decent track . It seemed to be getting quite popular too with many hits in short period of time.

It seems like it may have been moved or deleted if so why ?
Did I break some kind of rule if so what is it ?

thanks
Roc

Ah, that's what happens to threads that are cremated. The links go nowhere, eh?

Also a little thing called punctuation.

Me, I figure OP's a native English speaker. Most of the non-English-as-first-language folks are a lot better than we native English speakers are.

As a member of the second category, I was anxious to see my name in print, but, alas, this is not to be. :(

Ok I made a mistake so what . I'm guessing you think you are a real musician because you put a few samples together on your soundcloud clip below.
Wow you know how to play sampled chords on 1 key with a looped drum track with no arrangement skill what so ever. Just because you got a copy of Reasons don't make you dope. New producers shouldn't be so arrogant ,be humble and maybe you will be a real producer 1 day untill then keep sampling a real producer music.
peace

oops... you mean utmost? Actually, up-most seems to make more sense, don't it? What the heck is utmost?

I always assumed that utmost was just short for utter most. But despite the fact that I do a lot of word origins lookup, I've never actually checked it....

Oh well, the dictionary says it's actually from Old English meaning Out + Most, so basically outermost, a double superlative. A Double Plus F'ing A as it would translate into modern English more or less.

I think it's lovely, like all of Manley's gear. It's tube but not 'dirty tube'; tube clean is a wonderful thing, very big, very open, lots of shimmer, round and well defined bass. It sounds 'real' if that makes sense.

I also like the form factor, some of those summing mixers are too tiny even for me and I have small hands. The Manley feels good, and it's really nice to have an aux for a parallel buss. Bonus points for the solo buss as well.

I've never used the preamp version, fwiw.

Calculation accuracy diminishes at levels where signals attempt to exceed full scale (not just) in float processing
