I am definitely going to buy one. 100%. I just bought a Lisson Grove, which I can barely (read: "not") afford. So it will be a little bit of time. But I want one and I have to say, the design is simple and beautiful.

the problem with the lisson is you will probably want one more. Good luck with that!

I have one spot open in my lunch box and I need either a comp or a deseeser. i'm torn. i would love to get more feed back on XQP as a whole.

Tony have you compared it to others? Also, is it transparent in sound except the processing. Meaning, does it have a sound to it?

Any other users?

Anything you use to de-ess a sound will change the sound. The 531 has the most transparent sound that I've heard and the degree to which it can work is great. The 531 can go lightly or take a big chunk. That's one of the reasons why I like it. The only thing that could make it better was if it were programable through Pro Tools. Dane... get to work!

Those xqp de-essers are indeed super nice and very smooth, they don't do anything negative to the audio I've ever heard, and dang they are easy to dial in. Their speed is incredible both on attack and release of sibilance.

I have one!!! Awesome piece of gear!!!!

And Dan Tate is one of the nicest guys on the planet, got in touch with him by mail the time I bought the Deesser about 2 years ago. At that time the Deessers came with a free XQP T-Shirt :P

So far, I'm very impressed with the BAX EQ.

Very clear and strong.

Ridiculous value. Highly recommended.

Price for those XQP modules is ridiculous, very sparse pcb's would cost very little to build them
