Shure PG81
I picked up a pair of PG81's for $10. I did not expect a thing from them at all. I am seriously shocked at how useable they are on acoustic guitars/ mandolins (using a great preamp) My other go to SD mics are MK012, and these hang right with them. I am suprised no one uses them. I have seen them used a ton on HH, but thats it.

You got a good deal on them!

Seems to have a higher than acceptable noise floor to me.

Their big brothers, the SM81, see a lot of utility use from me.

Hat, individual cymbals, etc

The SM81 is kind of a staple of the live sound world as a condenser that can take a lot of abuse and sounds pretty darn good.

I have owned SM81's as well. I swear these do not have a higher noise floor than those. I'm just suprised these dont get more attention.
