Found an Analog Tape Machine

One of my friends works in an antique store and he came across a guy selling a reel to reel analog tape machine (Solid State PC630) for 150 bucks in working condition because he had no idea how to use it. I've never recorded on tape but I do have a Mackie 24:8 which I normally run through a Motu 24 i/o into Logic 9 on a Mac Pro.
I tried to find this thing on google but I've had no luck (maybe my friend told me the wrong model). Just wondering if any of you guys have heard of this thing and know if it would be a good purchase since it's so cheap. It would be much appreciated if any of you guys knew anything about this thing or if it even exists at all.
