Summing mixer with Prism Orpheus

I am looking for a 8-16 channel mixer/other for summing OTB. Here is my idea of a setup...
1)SCA N72 pres+Orpheus Pres into DAW (base tracks with no eq)
2)DAW into Orpheus for monitoring
3)Orpheus 1-8 out into (x) for EQ use/inserts
4)(x) back into Orpheus for Analogue goodness

(x) is what I need help finding. I have good pres and wondering if adding (x) component could help my sound. Or, am i just wasting my time and just get some good EQ's and compressors for outboard into the orpheus?

Ideas?

A folcrom is worth trying with your x72s as make up gain. You will undoubtably want a bus compressor if you spend any more time on gs. And an eq and another 8 ch of d/a and...

Or what Adam said...

I have the exact same question! I too have an orpheus but would like some hands on analogue summing + eq. I read about the A&H Zed R16? Are there any analogue mixers with motorized faders? That would be too sweet.
