Soundelux U95?

Soundelux U95?
I have a chance to purchase a U95 at an estate sale, they are asking $850 it has everything included. I cannot test the mic, is it worth the risk? I have never owned a Soundelux I have heard good things. Good Deal or no?

yeah, great mic, great price too... the bock 195 is sick also, on gtr cabs and drums really shines, some vcls too - get it!

I was just at that estate sale looking at the mic.
It looks to be OK.

The power supply IS NOT for a U95, but is for another tube mic.
The connectors all mate up.
The power supply is for a stereo mic.

I had a U95 back when they came out and it had an entirely different looking power supply.

You know... they will take a lot less for that mic than $850.00...

Update.... the SONY Betamax deck I bought for $15 is trash.
The 2" Quantegy 456 runs OK.

Actually, I am glad that you got it.
I have already owned one, so fair is fair!

Man... I know that I saw a six pin XLR cable there, but maybe it was just the power supply I looked at.
It is probably there in the sea of low budget audio equipment!
