Would think it'd have to be Black Bird and John McBride/Chuck Ainley. But I can't imagine them not recording in Toronto without Terry Brown.

Exactly. Neve 8078, API Legacy Plus, 1608s, SSL 9080XL K. Vintage outboard & mics. 2D diffusors.

Perfect for Pert's drums & Lifeson's amps.

Snakes and Arrows wasn't done in Toronto and it's been a while since Terry Brown was involved.

It seems like lately (starting with HYF) every other Rush album is kind of "off" to me. They're good but not amazing. This one is in line for the "amazing" slot so I'm looking forward to it.

I'm also really crossing my fingers for a Vapor Trails remix/remaster.

Chuck recorded the EZ Drummer Nashville session pack for Toontrack at Blackbird. And it's friggin' awesome. Thanks for the latest on who's who in Nashvegas these days. However, Rush could do a lot worse that Chuck IMHO.

Yeah, I know that it's been a while since "Broonsie" has been behind the desk for the boys, but for me he's the Ezrin to their KISS, the Parsons to their Floyd. I guess it's why the last Rush album I purchased (and it was an album) was Grace Under Pressure.

A Nashville freind of mine has bumped into Pete Collins several times in the last year. Is he involved?

David Leonard has worked with them at the former East Iris, now House of Blues studio. Could be there again, but just a guess.

It is awesome, but it was tracked at the sound kitchen.

just got out of the show in San Antonio...fantastic 3.5 hours performance--excellent FOH to whoever did it (little more air on the kit plz :P)

i've never seen 20k peeps playing air drums quite like this, even at any of 5 old Rush shows, Yes, Zep, KingCrims/Bruford, ELP w/orchestra, even Billy Cobham. This was the air drum finals of all time, lol! Peart is just always emotional and convincing, killer solo too

Ged had an outstanding night on bass, voice a tad rough, feels like they are near the end of the tour...

Alex was near letter perfect, huge sound, a few dropped notes, heavy treatments on BGV

overall a 5 star treat
