In the year 2027.

"Well my son" he says while he prepares his cigar throroughly with the slow but routined moves of an old warhorse.
"It started with luch meetings we had when you were still the offspring of a man who couldn´t ensure tomorrows bread.

Then we founded the audio engineers union and today some call us the mightiest mafia in the music biz.
We used our connections among us to slowly gain a good share of this industry. Whenever one of us was already booked-up he used to pass the client on to other members and that´s how we got it running.
Today hardly any big record is passing us.
Hohohoho!"

He laughes the roaring laugh of those who mustn´t worry before he pushes the button: "Maria, is the plane ready meanwhile? The young man here can´t wait to bring his gradution class mates to the island."

YOU ARE ALL SWORN TO POST PICS HERE AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE

Have fun guys, I really wish I could make it to what can only be described as the greatest collection of mispent youth in one place on the planet

Your collective mass may well create a crease through the very fabric of time and space to another dimension where gear is cheap and great bands abound ie Heaven

Enjoy

Well, we are about a 1/2 an hour from our NY / Eastcoast GS Luncheon. And I'm really looking forward to seeing and chatting with you folks.

As I mentioned in another post, The Gin Mill's "Speak Easy" room will be the place to be. They will be setting up tables for 30, plus there are plenty of other smaller tables all around the space for last minute GS members.

The food is upscale bar food. You will find a menu link below. I don't think anything's more then 9 bucks or so. Drinks are at 1/2 price. Individual ordering and billing is cool with my friend Melanie.

We're not getting an additional waitress and/or bartender for the private downstairs room. The Gin Mill's waitress, Debbie shall be traveling up and down those stairs for us for no extra bread. Please think of this when you're tipping her!. We must take care of Debbie!

The Gin Mill
442 Amsterdam Ave Between 81st & 82nd Streets.
New York, NY 10024 212-580-9080

The Speak Easy Room

The Menu

Date - Saturday the 28th of June 2003.
Location - Manhattan, NYC
Venue - The Gin Mill
Time - early lunch 12noon
Duration - up untill the next mealtime (6pm)
Jules' June 28th contact number. 1 646-234-9627

See you there!

What about this year???

I'm gonna be in NYC in June. Is this happening again this year? Can I crash? I promise to be reasonably good and chew with my mouth closed.
