Using a BRC with an HD24, yay or nay?

I have an HD24 and was curious if the BRC wood be a good remote? I understand from the manual that there are some features that are not available but overall how is it. Anybody doing this out there?

It's fine to do it. Make sure your OS is recent on both machines.

Just remember the BRC was not made for the HD24, but it will work.

Best info can be found in the HD24 group on Yahoo. Search the archives, your answers are there.

Sorry to dissagree with David but my hd24 when hooked up to a brc made popping noises on the drives. I have all the latest software upgrades and couldnt eliminate the problem. Not to mention that very few of the brc features work with the hd24.

Greetings.

The JLCooper CuePoint works beautifully on the HD24. No longer in production, but they make an occasional appearance on ebay.

Hi, the popping noises are not created by the alesis BRC. It’s another problem. Your dram’s are damaged and need to be replaced. Thats the caysepopping sound.

Cheers,
