NTI EQ3 question !!!

someone is trying to sell me a homemade lunchbox containg 4 NTI EQ3. It has 2 x 5band + air band and 2 x EQ2. The only wierd thing is that i've never seens vertical EQ3 module. The only on i know is the famous EQ3/air band 2 rack unit.
Are these module the same as their 2 rack unit ?? Thanks

Its probably a NTI EQ3 or EQ3D in a rack.

Are you sure?

I contacted them about two months ago about a repair for a NTI EQ3.

It was by email though.

There was a 500 series schematic floating over at the Prodigy Pro DIY forums a few years ago .. (I think Colon at Audiomateince made them?)

It was based off the EQ3-d (1 space version) Not off the EQ3 (2 space mastering version).

Do they look like those? If it's already in a DIY 500 rack, I bet they were hand-made.
