Bent headphone plug

Hey guys,

So tonight I bent the headphone plug at the end of my AKG K141's. Not a good night. Anyways, whats the best fix? It still works fine, but as expected, you have to twist the cable now or it shorts on one side. Any good ideas for a fix, or is it expensive to have fixed?

I could try and replace it myself, but would like some advice first.

Thanks,

Seth

I also forgot that the AKG K141's have the detachable replacement cable. So this would be an easy option. Anyone know where I could grab one of these for cheap?

For whatever it's worth, I found a Sennheiser replacement cable on eBay for a good bit less than full price.....

I'd just cut the sucker off and replace it.
