HD192 vs. 2408mk3 @ 24 bit

Is there a difference in quality between the Motu HD192 and 2408mk3 conversion if I'm running both at 24/48? In other words, are the converters any different comparing apples to apples?(anyone at Motu? Lavry?)

Hedd 192 is in another league of A/D - D/A conversion than Motu.

Although you should have the minimal conditions (Good monitoring, Acoustics, etc) in order to appreciate it.

Can someone from MOTU answer this?

Both converters are Motu, my question is, does the MOTU HD192 sound better than the MOTU 2408mk3, with both MOTU converters at 24/48. In other words, are the actual converters, working at the same bit and sample rate, any different?

The 192 sounds pretty good, but I have not heard the motu so I cant say. Even if its the same converter though, the analogue stages will give the units a different sound.
