500 series eq's

Hi Guys,

Ive been researching eq's latley and figure i might aswell move into the 500 series. Eventually i will replace my gear collection with these.

Ive been looking at many threads and am interested in:

Arsenal Audio v14
buzz tonic
API 550
JLM PEQ

My main application will probably be for vocals. Are they all much the same? i get the feeling they are all top quality.

Im looking for peoples thoughts on them. so ican make an informed decision.

cheers

No, they are all different... Some with work great on vocals, and others will not.

Since you are down under... give Legacy a call and get an Avedis E27 to try on those vocal tracks. It has the nicest top end for vocals in the 500 series.
