Nord Quandry

Hi,
I'm considering getting a synth/keyboard for gigging and home use. Excellent organ and piano sounds are probably most important. I originally fancied a Roland Juno Stage but, having done the obligatory net research, and found some possibly better and certainly more pocket-busting possibilities, I think re-mortgaging the house and getting a Nord Stage EX might be the answer. I just think I'd prefer a bit of a weighted feel over synth keys.

What I'm not terribly sure about is what the Stage EX Compact lacks, or doesn't, in comparison with the Stage EX 76 - they seem fairly similarly priced. They both look great from the demos I've seen on ye olde internet. I know the Compact has "waterfall" keys, and 3 less of them. I'm thinking the 88 would likely be too big for lugging around.

So really to ask if there are any Nord experts out there who've played these and what you reckon would be the best bet ? Are the keys on the Compact a pretty decent piano/organ compromise ?

Also be interested in any other model suggestions.

Many thanks !
