Avedis MA5 - matching pairs vs. build dates

Forgive the clumsy title, I couldn't find an elegant way to phrase it...

I want a pair of Avedis MA5's, and anticipate using them often as a stereo pair.
Unfortunately, I can only afford one at the moment - my question is - will one bought now, and one bought from a different manufacturing run "match" as well as two bought at the same time? If so, I'll go ahead and grab one - if not, I may wait 'til I have a bigger pile of cash...

Thanks!

i have a pair that were purchased about a year apart and I have no problems matching them up for stereo sources. One is from the very first run (under the first 20 sn) and the other one I just special ordered for the red face plate and received a few months ago.
