OT: Staying in Montreal, Canada eh?

I'm heading up there in a few weeks and need a place to stay for 3 nights. I'm looking for a low rate and an indoor pool that's somewhat close to or in downtown. If anyone has a suggestion (and a phone number too!) it would be great.

Thanks,

Can't suggest a hotel but: If you're going sans significant other, may I suggest Chez Paris. heh Beer's a bit expensive but the scenery is quite superb. Bring alot of ones.

Also Biddles Jazz and Ribs. Great food and great music. The owner is the bass player in the combo.

Yeah man... a little too much info for me. If you want to edit some of that go ahead.

FWIW, I am traveling with my best friend who is a girl so strip clubs and escorts are way outta the question. Well, at least the escorts are.

I hope you'll enjoy Montreal, there's lots to do without getting oneself into too much trouble heh heh

I live here (actually near le Studio, which is now closed and will most likely turn into a bunch of summer houses (on the land behind the lake as seen in a few Rush album photos)..... but when staying in town, I've enjoyed my stays at the Delta and the Hotel de la Montagne.

Hotel de la Montagne is right smack in the center of the nightlife and one can get to the clubs without going outside which is great during the 9 months of winter

The Delta is a few blocks north of where the jazz fest takes place but you'll be early for that.

Plan on eating lots of amazing food,

Andy

JBlake,
It's Chez Paré and not Paris...big difference in french :-)

Steve Smith,
Studio Morin Heiths is probanly one of the worse place to track right now. The equipments are old, badly maintained...they`ve been trying to sell that place forever now.

Jay,
Let me know your budget and prefered location and i`ll find you a hotel. BTW, i`m gigging on St-Laurent ( a very happening area, especially if you`re single ) maybe we can hook up.
