Refrence Level?

I just bought a new A/D for my home studio and I can't seem to find the correct reference level for my digi001. Can anyone help me?

Huh? Somewhere in the owners manual for your new ADC there should be something that tells you how it's calibrated with regards to 0VU at +4. If it doesn't tell you it's pretty easy to figure out. Set up a 1khz tone from the console or CD player at 0VU and feed to the ADC. Look at the meters on the software and see what your hitting. Most converters default to -15dBfs but there is no standard yet. Some converters have trim pots on them, sometimes internal that will let you change the level. I have my ADC set for -18 at 0VU which leaves me plenty of headroom.
