Tube Tech EQ1A?????

Hey there slutz.

I posted in High end, but I need advice quick. I have a lead on a Tube Tech EQ1A. I need something to sweeten my front end vocal sound. I have an Elux 251 going into Daking or an Avalon M5. I am already set on a CL1b to compliment my Distressor, and I was thinking about a Massive Passive, but then this came up.

There's not much on GS about this piece, I have searched as much as my patience will allow. Also, it seems that Sweetwater is not selling them anymore. Is this a hidden treasure or a time bomb?

HELP!

Pass on it.

For the same dough look for the real thing.

Just an opinion.

Well Thrill,

It's considerably less then the Massive... still feel the same way? I'm willing to spend the dough if it makes a real difference.

There's been a Fearn VT-4 floating around on eBay. Unsole. Check completed listings. Might want to go there instead. It's around 3gs though.

On my voice (2nd tenor/bari pop voice) it absolutely kills.

On my wife's voice... too harsh. We're doing more and more singing together for projects, and it is frustrating that her talent is not being captured well enough on tape. She always sounds better in the room to my ears.

BTW, Thrill, I am going with the Massive, thanks for your advice.

usually i'd put up the e47 in that
circumstance and alot of the trouble would go away.......maybe you can do
the same thing with the massive passive

be well
