can you plug a bass straight in an fmr rnc?

Hi there,

I'm fed up of low quality compressor pedal...but i like to apply a bit of compression before my amp or a bass pod xt... can you use a fmr rnc as you would use a pedal? the website doesn't specify if the input will accept instruments level

Please help.

Don´t think so as the compressor takes line signals, not instrument signals (Low Z).
Low input signals would give you nothing to compress.. and your instrument will lack in tone, frequencies and quality.
