G5 versus G4 , how much quieter ?

Every time I switch of my G4 (with the hoove rholes) I'm asking myself this Question:
How much quieter is a G5 ?

I don't know about anyone else's experience, but my G5 is way quieter than my G4 dual was.

a lot.

i used a Dual500 G4 for years and was looking at iso boxes etc and then i bought a Dual 2.3 G5 and IMO there's no need for the iso box. YMMV

Got a dual 2.7 a couple months ago and it's extremely quiet. I'll still be putting it in an isoraxx box but it is a vast improvement over the G4's I've worked with.

I still think my G5 is pretty loud, but there's a G4 in the room, and when it comes on, look out!!!
