MCDSP channel G disappointing ?

I'm just playing with the Channel G plugin demo.

ok, sounds good, graphics could be better, etc
BUT, how come I can't select the order of Comp and EQ in the chain?
Did they forgot implement a pre/post Eq button for the comp , or am I blind ?

Click the green button next to the screen (that shows the EQ curve). That will give you the controls you are looking for.

You need to play with it some more. It is deep. One of the best plug-ins I have found to date... definitely the best channel strip type plug-in.

Agree on the compressor, and the eq is IMO allright.
But the GUI is terribly slow
It makes my session feel sluggish and I get bad vibes;
like something's about to happen......

I can look at this screen with the blocks, but can't change anything there.
Or is it because I'm playing with the 14 days trial demo?
Can't find anything about limitations in the manual

Help please

That merely represents the signal flow. You can't alter the path from that page. Look at the "key" functions on the comp/limiter and gate/expander page. This function controls routing to the dynamics section.

Besides the Waves plugs I own Channel Strip, Forte and Channel G. All very good channel strips. Each different from the other. While I struggle sometimes with the gate my favorite by far is Channel G. Most versatile of the channel strips for Pro Tools IMHO.

I tried and I tried , but I see no way to put the eQ section (not the filter section) BEFORE the compressor
