Calucalting tempo in PT?

Does anyone know how to calculate a tempo in PT.
Lets say you have a loop of 2 bars but don't know the tempo. I\ve daone it in the past but forgot how to do this.

tab to transient to find the start of measure one, then shift/tab to select the whole 2 bars. then select Identify Beat and enter bar 1 as the start, then bar 3 as the end and hit ok.

Ok, here you go. Select the 2 bars and make sure it loops perfectly. Then, with the selection still highlighted, go to the Audiosuite Time Compression/Expansion plugin, and under the bars and beats field, type in 2 bars, or 2|0|0, and press enter. Now the numbers in the other fields will update, and in the tempo field, thats your tempo. Its really better to do it with 4 or 8 bars though.

I know others use beat detective or some other ****ery, but this works the best, fastest, and most reliable for me.

Yes, i forgot to put this but, use tab-to-transient when you find the start and end points. Its your friend!!! Happy looping
