Reputable dealers of Vintage LA2A/1176's ?

Hi guys,

I'm looking for some dealers of vintage gear (LA2A and 1176's at the mo), preferably ala Mercenary, someone that you can trust to call a spade a spade and charge accordingly.

I'm happy to pay upper market prices but want peace of mind and know that I'm buying from respected and reputable dealers that stand by what they sell.

Either US or Europe-based is fine by me.

Cheers for the help,

R.

Gear Maniac

Or Mike at Vintage King
If you want to stay within the UK, there's of course Proaudioeurope (already mentioned).
Malcolm Jackson often has those as well.(mjq.co.uk)

Cheers Stuart.

Yeah, I'm always checking Funky's used gear email's but have never been too sure how 'vintage' orientated they are.

I'll give em' another look though.

Any other idea's?

Mike at Vintage King is indeed a good idea - he's also a close friend of Mark at Funky Junk and they share a similar ethos. Mark is a no-bull**** kind of guy and really knows his stuff. He's very helpful and informative and for the kind of thing you're talking about I can't think of anyone better in the UK. I know several great dealers for new stuff, but for anything vintage he'd be my first call.
