It just means "bumping" it back to the top of the lists.


Or you could say "this thread has slipped too far down the list but I think it`s still relevant so I`m going to write this so the thread will show up first in the order even though I don`t have anything to add myself that`s releveant I just wanted other people to post on it again".

That`s basically what a bump is.
