vintage Grundig

Hey guys,

I have the chance to pick up some vintage Grundig gear. This is the list:

1 - Telefonadapter 2440, with manual and box
1 - Stereo mixer 11046, with box
2 - Hi-Fi Stereo Box 25, speakers, without legs or glass top
1 - TK 46, reel to reel tape recorder, needs tune up to work
1 - GBM 125 Microphone, box damaged
1 - Microphone Set, L&R, w49091, with carrying box
1 - Fussschalter 225, foot pedal, with box and manual for Nachrustatz F40
1 - Dyn. Stereo-Koppfhorer 211, headphones with box

It all looks around c.1960, the owner is a friend of mine. I'd like to buy it from him, but the problem is neither of us has a frikking clue what the stuff is worth. My suspicion is not a heck of a lot, except maybe to a specialised collector.

I'm most interested in the speakers and the little reel to reel (actually the dynamic mic looks pretty sweet too). All the connectors are proprietary weird stuff so testing is not possible at the moment. Any ideas on a dollar figure for the entire kit? (also considering the reel to reel is not fuctioning properly). It also comes with a box of 1/4" reels

Thanks a million

Therfore check the price on http://ebay.de

This looks like an vintage dictaphone-system. The mics could serve you some nice sound if you are looking for low-fi.

"It also comes with a box of 1/4" reels"

Here you can find propably some nice samples.

This is all is no studio- or even hifi-quality, but you can have a nice nostalgy-system.

A tone-generator usually delivers a sinus-wave in differnet hz, useable for test-signals. You can do old school industrial with it like Boyd Rice or TG.
