Cranberries - Chocolate Brown Vocal Chain?

Does anyone have any idea what vocal chain was used on this? Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Well.... apparently the WHOLE song was recorded with just one mic in the room.

I'm still trying to find out what mic it is. The silky air she gets through this thing is amazing!

The conversation with myself continues.

It just dawned on me there is stereo panning in this song. It must have been a stereo mic! What possible high end stereo mics are there that could possibly fit the bill? I NEED to find out what mic this is. Her voice comes through amazing on this track!

Victory is mine!

Someone on the Klaus forum suggested I drop an email to the management group for Cenzo who did this recording.

I actually got an email back from him directly! What a stand up guy for sharing this.

"Hello Brent,

The mic used on "Chocolate Brown" was a Soundfield

http://www.soundfield.com/products/st250.php

We "balanced" the band by spacing them around the mic, I did record a DI
signal from the bass.

I hope this helps,

Best regards

Cenzo Townshend"
