Y Cable

Does anyone know where I can get a good XLR Y-cable? I don't need a patchbay since I just track one track at a time. I would like to split a signal between my AD and my monitoring mix for zero latency.

Fire up the soldering iron and in maybe 10 minutes you're done! <g>

I don't want to hijack the thread..., but I have a doubt: do the Y cables degrade or change the sound in some way ?

I was thinking about doing the same thing. Latency sucks!

Many thanks,

A Y cable should be transparent assuming the impedance loads on the output lines don't get too low.

"Mult" jacks in patchbays are the exact same thing, and have been a standard desk feature for eons.
