Oktava's???

Hey everyone,

I have a pair of Rode NT5's but they do not have any switchable capsule designs.

Just an opinion, do the oktavas have good room response with the omni capsules in place?

Not sure, but I was looking into getting a matched pair. And lastly, whats the difference between the Mk and Mc's??

MK012 = MC012
I believe that C=K in Cyrillic (the Russian alphabet)

I have a matched pair of cardioids and don't have any experience with the omni capsules. Many people prefer the matching that Soundroom does as opposed to other distributors (like Gtr Cntr). That being said I bought a factory matched pair and am happy with the mics.

Do a search here because this topic comes up fairly often.

I got my pair from GC and I'm pretty happy with them. They're quieter and have a higher output then my AT4031's if that helps. I only have one omni capsule which is kind of a bummer, I wish I had a second one. I'm not sure what you mean by "good room response".

I've been thinking about buying a matched set of omnis for my 012's. The capsules are available seperately if you want them at Soundroom and probably at other places too.

Man, that snappy happy face just snuck right up on me... I'd better say "pleased" more often...
