It'll be on a separate circuit from your gear, right?

I always wanted to take all the parts out of fridge and build it out of wood.

rack mount would be sweet !

if purple only came with cup holders?
some times I look at those compressors and think "dam that thing needs a cup holder"
like the ones in fancy cars..

I think it would be cool.....

I built a five keg jocky out of wood (credentals)

I got one at Sam's Club - a Haier Beverage Center. It's about 3 ft. tall and 18" wide with a glass door - very quiet and quite cold. I seem to recall it cost about $150.

I thought up a rack mounted cooler. My tech, being the genius he is, said it'd actually be possible if he made a unit using Peltier cooling patents. Design similar to the way computer chips stay cool.

Then we decided we wouldn't get anything done so we kind of dissolved acutally building it.

So, now we use something we bought at Sears. Watch you power source. It'll tug when it turns on.

This is right up my alley as i am an HVACR Tech By Day and A "What do you do with all those knobs and computers " by night Guy....LOL

The only way you'll get what you want is to get a Commercial box Bev Air, True ....And Remote the condensing unit i.e (noisy stuff-Compressor+Fan motor).

Probably MUCH more than you want to spend but the Professional and truly quiet solution!

The only other solution would be a cheapo hier box as mentioned above and BURY IT in a foam insulated box for noise redux.

Good Luck

I had a propane powered Servel once that was dead quite. Completely passive, uses no electricity. Google "propane gas refrigerator".

If you could have the ass of it venting out into a machine room with a tight seal you could still have the door open to the control room. I don't think anything is going to actually be quiet enough to be happy with. I'm all for machine rooms and kitchens/lounges.

A walk to the machine room or kitchen/lounge won't kill you and might be the only exercise you get for the day LOL.

there is better **** than that

good design though
best working one I have seen ( magnetic )

years ago I cooked my brain on perptual motion...

there is other kinds perpetual motion
mechanical
magnetic
hydrolic
electric
and the other one?
the best is still non existant

the way I desighned it it takes a huge jet motor to start it
but once it gets going its good to go
its kinda like a big spinny , with a smoking section and cup holder
looks like a UFO ,it spinns realy fukin fast .so fast it creates
its own energy . it flys

when your not using it it powers your pad.
