CUbase le HELP!

clients always send me time aligned ,,rendered/consolodated, .wav files when i mix songs from formats other than PT which i use

i have a client that has basically no clue how to ..render/consolidate, err whatever, his CUbase le session files so i can mix them

i downloaded the cubase le tutorial ..but some of the processes and nomenclature are so diff that what i consider "normal" that without the program in front of me i can't fig it out

bottom line

can someone give me a step by step to make time aligned , continuous .wav files from the regions on the tracks in his session?

THANKS!!!!!!

Select with your mouse all the parts of one track that should be glued.
They should be now highlighted.
Right click on anyone. In the menu that appears, choose Convert selection to new file. Then when asked choose Replace.
Here you are.

Sorry for my poor english. I hope you could understand the process.

Your looking for the PT equivalent of "consolidate selection", right..?? Raw audio only, no rides or processing..

If I had it in front of me, I could tell ya. But it's been too long.

Here..

I guess he uses a Mac if he has no right-click. If I remember correctly, he should use Ctrl+Left Click.
Mac users will correct me.

Of course.

He may try to use the glue tool instead. But this will not create a new audio file, only a new clip in the project window.

Hey LM, instead of key shortcuts, is there a pull down menu command he could use after highlighting selections?

After highlighting selections, go to the Audio menu and choose Convert to new file.

My Cubase is in french, so I just try to translate what I see...

well he used a pencil tool to draw a region on all tracks that didn't start at 00:00:00

then highlighted each one and did a bounce function
