Tube-O-Lator! Miracle!

(my thanks to Steven Vardy for this link)

Is Altmann a long lost cousin of Jack Ortman??

More importantly, did you know your studio and converters were lacking in this crucial area?

Tube-O-Lator (you need it!)

Wow, that's good Jax.

I have been thinking of a similar product. Those who think cds play back it too sterile and bright could rub vasoline on the cd player lens. That way, just like a camera, the sound will be softer and fuzzier.

That's a joke right? I mean, it's gotta be a joke? Who in the hell would rip open a converter and put goo on top of all the IC's?

No, the guy's quite serious. Come on the webboard defending himself and basically calling us out becuase we hadn't tried it (don't have to try to jump over the Empire State building to know it ain't gonna happen...).

It's pretty sad, but no more so than half the 'audiophile' tweaks out there.

Imagine the tone if you used that stuff to coat those stupid little cones that audiophiles like to place around their parents' basements, errr, I mean, "listening rooms". Sonic perfection. NOW I WILL SOUND PRO!

I wonder if he'll devise a solution you can put on tubes to make them sound solid state.

Get OUT! Please tell me you are lying. The whole page is hilarious and I thought it was a very well done send up of the whole, ridiculous Audiophile tragedy.

Do you mean to tell me this guy is serious? Good grief, the end is near.
