Dylan's Rolling Thunder Microphone

Hi to all you slutz.
Can anyone out there please tell me what mic Bob Dylan is using, vocals, during the 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue. It's really hard to tell because of the windscreen. I feel like it's some type of Shure due to the base but can't be sure.
Muchos gracias to anyone who can solve this mystery for me.

Saw this Doc last night. I loved it.

Looks like a Shure 546 or a Sm-56

Yep, they look right to me. It also makes me wonder how much 546 and sm-56 dna is in the sm-57. They look SO similar!

Ha, yes. I’m not about to run out and buy this inspiration machine to help transform music forever (already doing that!).

Just curious what it was. It does sound pretty good though...

Well Bob now uses a Shure SM7B, maybe he favors that one more now for some reason? I used to own one but I wasn't as totally crazy about it as I thought I would be. I bought a SM57 and noticed close enough similarities without the gain requirement. What I think Shure did is put two of their dynamic elements out of a 57/58 and combined those sounds in some special way but it lowers their gain structure somehow? I see how it can be handy and a multi-tool in a studio but I wanted a real nice vocal mic and I decided to get a tube mic instead. Advanced Audio ftw.
