Terrific book for singers and those who record them!

It's "Power Performance for Singers", by Shirlee Emmons and Alma Thomas,
a "self-help performance manual for all singers"-to quote the book cover.
It's already made a marked difference in my performance level in the short
time I've been reading it.

Unless of course all the singers you record perform well, and are devoid of
performance insecurity...

At amazon it says its for classical.

Is that not true - is it for 'singing'?

Cos it looks worth buying as a prezzie for someone I'm working with

Sure thing Renie!

Bev, it works on ANY kind of singing, and for instrumentalists.
In fact the principles are so transferable that they work on ANY
performance oriented activity. So keep it hidden from your
"significant other"! (just kidding)

There are also chapter summaries for most of the chapters when you
need a quick directional fix ASAP.
It can also be used as a reference book when performance issues arise.
