$2500 to improve my studio, what next?

Tried this in High End forum with no response, figured it might work better here.

I have a small project studio (probably more accurately called a post-production studio) at my home where I produce local artists semi-professionally. I have about $2500 to blow and I'm wondering what might a reasonable next purchase. Been leaning towards a stereo compressor that can handle individual instruments and buss compression OR a 2-channel EQ. The kind of work I do is all over the map, from rock/pop productions to chamber music to electronic/laptop music to jazz. My current setup:

-Macbook Pro running Logic 8
-Event ASP8 Monitors
-Lavry Blue AD/DA
-LaChapell 992EG stereo pre, Fireface 800 (clocked from Lavry)
-Mics: Schoeps cmc6/mk4 pair, pearlman tm-1, 57s, various other dynamics
-Plugs: PSP Neon HR, Sonalksis compressor and EQ, Izotope Ozone, and Logic plugs for the rest.
- well-treated room

I probably do not need more mics for what I normally do (mixing, overdubs, etc.) but am primarily looking to improve the quality/character/impact of my mixes.

What would you go for and why...

Maybe another preamp (MA5, Pacifica) - another color in your tracks
UAD card (seems logical to me)
or some buss comp (SSl , Api, Smart C2...)

Maybe monitors and room treatment.

API 2500 Bus Compressor

Room acoustics, quality preamps with "flavor", and a buss compressor.

And don't forget to add a main hardware reverb. Bricasti, maybe a PCM-96. Why? It's a different world of sound, something that is simply not achievable with software plugins.

Good luck!

That was actually my first thought. Don't know how if they will work as a buss comp, though. That's what got me leaning towards the stereo units. Anyone have any experience with the Chandler comps on buss duties? Or a stereo unit that's good for individual tracks (is the API any good for this?)..
