Mission Pro SM6A

Mission Pro SM6A

Just needed a pair of (inexpensive) additional nearfields to my AIR-15s and Genelecs since my Monitor Ones got very old and needed to be replaced by something new and more usable.
So I stumbled over a fairly unknown speaker from the UK company "mission professional" that I really begin to like:

The SM6A. active 6" LF 80W, 1" HF 50W, Peak SPL 108dBA

The Genelecs are fun to produce and arrange with.
The AIRs are great to mix on.

But the Mission PROs show so many details - unbelievable what you get for the money.

I especially like the mid-resolution, the tops do have a bit more "bite" than the genelecs and the bass response is impressively precise for a small box like this.

As with every monitor, this is just a very subjective statement - but if you're going to look for something new that isn't too expensive, give the SM6A a try.
