TL Audio Dual Pre Crimson Series

Have anyone heard one of those, or even heard about those?
Dual pre-amps with instrument input jack in the front and red faceplate... anyone?

Sorry, haven't heard one. While some people get funny about TLA stuff, some of it is quite good IMHO. I've got a couple of valve pieces which no doubt would make the purists balk. I'd say give it a road test if you can and get your own ears around it before you part with the cash.

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to do... trying to bring it to my studio and see how it sounds compared to my VC6, 001 and Tascam 2524...
Thanks!

Does the Crimson name on the model has something to do with the Crimson Audio Input transformer that is used in some high end pres??? You know what... I think I'll see if that pre is still sitting on the dealer

No, I think it's because it's red..like the "TLA indigo" was blue, etc..!

Strangely enough, the classic series is battleship grey. Report to the trenches, troops !
