I'm kinda surprised no one mentioned the TC M1. Good sounds, easy to use, CHEEP.

I like it a lot better than the comparable Lex's....the 550.

Sorry for reviving this old thread (happy birthday though!), but I guess my question really belongs here.

I've read in a lot of posts that the SRV-2000 is really great on drums. Strangely no other application is mentioned, but drums are always highlighted... What makes this unit so well suited for drums?

Also, this seems to be a mono-to-stereo verb. Isn't it a problem when you route multiple drum sounds into it that were originally panned in the stereo field?

Thanks,
j

It's well suited for drums for it's a "thick" unit,i.e verbs are quite dense and kinda dark(for a digital thang), and you don't want to ear too much of the long tails cos that's not where the machine sparkles : so short time effects are most use on this one.
The Non linear presets are real Classics for drum sounds also.
It has a cool Delay feature on a combination of hold keys at startup

I love mine

I don't really mind the mono input cos I mainly feed center snare of center vocal (for a slapback) to the Roland

Its the snare crack program on the srv-330 that most people talk about.

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I have an SRV 2000 and need to change the battery. I have the top off, and still can't see it! Anyone know the procedure?

Yes, but the SRV 3030 is better than the M1, for me. But you have reason to compare to the Lex's, it's better.

Has anybody tried the infinite mode on the SRV 2000 ? Is it worth checking out ?
