I have searched and I haven't found a real comparison for the RNC vs the RNLA? This would be for overall general use, what do you find the one or the other to work well on? Do they suck? Are they each great for you?

i have had RNCs for years, and i love them. i just got an RNLA for christmas, so i'll be doing some tests in the near future. i'll try to post something.

but even without the tests, i can tell you that i would suggest the RNC for "general use." it's relatively transparent and simple. you won't regret's so cheap.

There's a ton of info hereabouts on RNC.

I just picked up the RNLA. I'm an ITB kind of guy (PTLE) and I was looking for something to get some color and b^lls going on my drum tracks which, sad to say, originate from an old Alesis SR16.

I love what it did on my current project when I slammed the drums and bass through it and onto a parallel track.

I'm going to run the whole mix through it next, but I think it may be a bit much for that.
