Speck X.Sum vs. RMS Folcrom (vs. Tonelux as passive summing mixer?)

Any opinions on best path for summing b/w X.Sum and Folcrom? Folcrom is less $ but Speck allows gain and pan OTB. I'm still wondering if it's possible to use Tonelux modules as a passive summing mixer then I could hit another preamp similar to the Folcrom for the gain makeup? That would be cool too.
