Simulating clipping drums?

I have been mixing my stuff lately to where its always in the red in cubase' master fader, but I dont want it quiet, but I have grown to like the sound of the clipping kick and snare in my car, and so when I went to actually mix it to where things werent clipping, it didnt sound as powerful to me... is there a way to simulate the clipping? and if so, should I put it on the entire set or just kick and snare?

the T-racks set has a dedicated clipper. You can dial in the degree of 'flatness' you want on top.

short of reamping through some favorite analog piece, it gives some of the "nicest" tutt clipping out there.

It might sound pretty bad and aggressive on good monitors (or played loud in a club)...

But what the heck... but who gives a **** about these kids with there fancy hifi-monitors at home, that go to clubs... eh!?
